A Historic Juncture: Israel’s Destruction of Gaza and the Palestinian Future

About the Conference

The destruction of Gaza after some 20 months of Israeli military operations, increasingly being recognized as a crime of genocide, has left Palestinians at an unprecedented moment in their history. This conference brings together a group of experts at the National Press Club in Washington DC at this crucial moment to address the status of human rights after genocidal violence was unleashed on Gaza, the scale and scope of destruction and loss, as well as the need for accountability. Looking forward, the conference will also delve into where Palestinians can go from here in their politics, in the region, and on the global stage.
