Zeina Azzam is ACW’s Publications Editor. She edits all analysis and research papers and organizational publications, and writes briefs and reports.
Previously she served as Executive Director of The Jerusalem Fund and its educational program, the Palestine Center; Director of Educational Outreach at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies, Georgetown University; Senior Program Manager of the Arabic Language and Culture program at Qatar Foundation International; and Editor of academic articles and monographs on Arab affairs for various organizations. Her articles and poems have appeared in Al Jazeera English, The Hill, Jadaliyya, Middle East Eye, Electronic Intifada, The Huffington Post, Mondoweiss, Mizna, Calliope, Sukoon Magazine, and Social Education. Her academic background includes an M.A. in Arabic Literature from Georgetown University, an M.A. in Sociology from George Mason University, a B.A. in Psychology from Vassar College, and a Publications Specialist Program certificate from George Washington University.
