George Doumar
Founder and Principal, Doumar Law Group
George Doumar is founder and principal of Doumar Law Group. He graduated from the University of Virginia Law School and was on the editorial board of the Virginia Law Review as well as the articles editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law. He graduated as a member of Order of the Coif, the law school honor society. Mr. Doumar also earned a BSFS degree in international economics from Georgetown University, where he was Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia and in various federal courts, including the US Supreme Court. He is a Permanent Member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference. Mr. Doumar began practicing law in 1986 with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, a Wall Street law firm. He worked in the firm’s Washington, DC and London offices, handling transactional and litigation matters for multinational companies and investment banks.
