C. Ian DeHaven is a Congressional Affairs Intern at Arab Center Washington DC. His work focuses on the intersection between anthropology, international relations, and the Middle East. Prior to joining ACW, Ian served as a Summer Fellow at William & Mary’s Global Research Institute, where he conducted research on democratic backsliding in Tunisia, and also as an Arabic Teaching Assistant. Ian is a recent graduate from William & Mary with a degree in International Relations and an Arabic minor.
