With much of the world’s attention justifiably focused on the Gaza Strip amid Israel’s ongoing genocide, conditions in the occupied West Bank have continued to deteriorate. Violence against Palestinians has intensified alongside expanded Israeli settlement activity, heightened repression of Palestinian political and civic expression, the enabling of settler violence, and systematic efforts to displace Palestinian communities.
Arab Center Washington DC is convening a webinar to assess the current situation in the West Bank, examine the key developments of recent weeks and months, evaluate the responses of the Palestinian Authority as well as regional and international actors, and consider the potential trajectories of events in the period ahead.
