About the Webinar

Shortly after announcing the “Board of Peace” as part of the next steps in a ceasefire plan for Gaza and declaring “peace in the Middle East,” US President Donald Trump, along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, launched a war on Iran, which continues to shake the region and the globe while taking the eyes of the world off of Palestine.

Arab Center Washington is convening this expert panel to examine recent developments in Palestine since the onset of the Iran war. Among the topics that will be addressed are the escalation of Israeli violence against Gaza and the status of the ceasefire implementation; the growing threat of Israeli settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank; the threats facing Palestinian citizens of Israel during the war as well as their mobilization ahead of planned Israeli elections. What has changed on the ground in Gaza since the announcement of the “Board of Peace”? What changes are taking place in the West Bank’s areas B and C? How are Palestinian citizens of Israel experiencing the war on Iran and the continued threat of criminal violence? These questions and many more will be among those addressed by our panelists as they bring the focus back to the situation in Palestine over the last two months.
