About the Webinar

Over 1100 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli military since the announcement of a “cease-fire” deal in October of 2025 which was accompanied by a 20-point American plan that was to evolve in phases leading to an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and the eventual start of reconstruction. However, nine months later the Israeli military has taken even more territory in Gaza, the population continues to struggle in dire conditions as reconstruction has not started, and the elements of the Board of Peace plan, which include international forces and a new local administration, have yet to be implemented.

Arab Center Washington DC convenes this panel discussion to assess where the Board of Peace plan stands, what has been implemented and what has not, what are the obstacles that stand in the way, and whether the plan has any chance of success while continuing to set aside the basic rights and needs of Palestinians.
