Zeina Azzam

Zeina Azzam is the former Publications Editor at Arab Center Washington DC. Prior to her tenure at Arab Center, she served as Executive Director of The Jerusalem Fund and its educational program, the Palestine Center; Senior Program Manager of the Arabic Language and Culture program at Qatar Foundation International; Director of Educational Outreach at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies, Georgetown University; and editor of academic articles and monographs on Arab affairs for various organizations. Her articles and poems have appeared in Al Jazeera English, The Hill, Jadaliyya, Middle East Eye, Electronic Intifada, Huffington Post, Mondoweiss, Mizna, Calliope, Sukoon Magazine, Split This Rock, and Social Education. Azzam holds an MA in Arabic Literature from Georgetown University, an MA in Sociology from George Mason University, a BA in Psychology from Vassar College, and a Publication Specialist Program certificate from George Washington University.
